Objective

A diagnostics company requested DeciBio to help an advisory board (ad board) to understand how to position its relatively new somatic oncology genomics profiling product in an already competitive market

Our Approach

DeciBio recruited and coordinated the scheduling for 8 oncology KOLs (both oncologists and pathologists) for a 3-hour virtual ad board. With input from the client, DeciBio prepared the questionnaire and stimuli for the attendees and facilitated the discussion.

Outcome

DeciBio delivered a recording and written summary of the ad board discussion. The summary included key takeaways related to:

  • Current use of genomic profiling assays in routine care
  • Factors that drive test differentiation
  • Evolution of current offering and potential future offerings
  • Tradeoffs and differentiating features of various evolutions
